About

I've been a photographer for over 13 years. I first remember borrowing my Dad's compact camera to take photographs of my friends jumping their bikes in the woods, and the moment I got a mid-air action shot, I was hooked. I went through my teens obsessed with cameras and photography, spent years working at a local camera shop learning all about the equipment.

Landscape photography is where my passion lies - the ever changing conditions, the discipline and dedication required despite the fact you may not even get a shot, and being out in nature in all its glory with a purpose other than just the experience.

What I’ve always loved about photography is the way you can tell a story with an image. Sometimes the story is simple - the way the shapes and the lines lay in the landscape, a subject standing apart from the background. Sometimes the story is complex and nuanced - the culture of an entire country condensed into a single scene.

I've experience in many forms of commercial photography, shooting property, food, portraits, events, weddings, animals, and having my work displayed in private galleries.

I want to express what I truly love about photography - there's always more to learn and discover.
